Presenting: The Sonority Sisters featuring Kelly Zimba and Clare Semes
Kelly Zimba is the Principal Flute of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 2017. Previously a Flute Fellow at the New World Symphony, she has performed with the Pittsburgh, Detroit, Palm Beach, and Battle Creek Symphony Orchestras, and was a two-time Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. Originally from Pittsburgh, Ms. Zimba completed her graduate studies at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, and received bachelor’s degrees in flute performance and music education from the University of Michigan.
Clare Semes joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 2017. She is a recent alumna of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida. In addition to serving as a concertmaster of the New World Symphony, she has served as concertmaster of The Juilliard Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Orchestra. Clare enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, and running, and recently ran her first full marathon.

The backyard is open at 1:30 pm for a 2 pm start. As you arrive to the front of the house, turn left and go around the house to the backyard. Here’s the view:

Social Distancing: Please bring your own mask, and set up your own lawn chairs. Please wear masks until you sit down; re-mask if you wander around or go inside to use the powder room. Walk-ins are discouraged, so please buy your ticket(s) below. We have a maximum of 70 tickets to sell.
